Kavya Madhavan, till recently the 'numero uno' actress in Malayalam, is getting married. Kavya has already been engaged to Nischal, an NRI working in Bank of Kuwait. Their engagement took place in Ernakulam a couple of months back though the wedding date is yet to be finalised.
Nischal has a filmi connection as he had worked as a child artist in films like Aayitham, Kizhakkunaram Pakshi, Gandharvam, Ilavancode and Desam. As an adult, he had done supporting roles in films like 4the People, By the People, before calling it a day.
The grapevine is abuzz that Kavya had met Nischal last year, and first they were friends who later fell in love. But Kavya herself denied that it was a love marriage.
Says Kavya: "To be honest, it's an arranged marriage. The marriage was arranged by my parents as the proposal came through Suresh Gopi's brother Sunil Gopi."
Nischal has done his BTECH from an American University and got employed in Kuwait Bank. His parents has been settled in Kuwait for the last 35 years. The marriage is to take place sometime next year. Kavya has stopped signing any new films, and will leave for Kuwait after her marriage.
